Origin & History

St. Teresa's School was founded on 11th July 1968. It was started by joint Anglo-Indian founder Hubert and Inez Fanthome on the request of the locality people to cater primarily for Anglo Indian Children. The founders seeing the need for a good school in the locality, felt obliged to make arrangements and consequently St. Teresa's Day School was founded.

St. Teresa's Day School was registered as a minority school under Article 30 (1) of the Indian Constitution with Registrar of society on 28th February 1987. The Uttar Pradesh Government recognized the school giving it a N.O.C. to affiliate itself to Council for the ICSE/ISC granted affiliation on 12th Jan 1988. St. Teresa's Day School is an unaided institution.
